In Fake supply we see an artificial water fountain with the figure of a bird, which more than singing seems to warn us of a danger. The fountain is placed at the top of an oil barrel, which is balancing on top of four bottles of water. This work by Ana Alenso proposes a reflection on the abstract vision of nature that we can have as a result of industrialization.Through the symbolic character of the objects, she seeks to expose the danger of pollution of the oceans and mineral waters as a result of extractive practices such as fracking.
